Monica Nucciarone is an Educational Advisor for
Pierce College, a
community college in Washington State. For the past 10 years, Monica
has been assisting college students become prepared for their future
careers. Her special expertise is training students in developing
portfolios for career and transfer planning. She also teaches part-time
in the field of social sciences. Her interest in baseball extends to
the social and cultural changes that has influenced America through this
sport. Currently, Monica is working on a full-length biography of
Alexander Joy Cartwright, Jr. Her future writing endeavors will include
the societal conflict of women's early role in playing baseball,
including biographies of early female players.
Monica holds a Masters in Counseling degree from California State
University, Fullerton, and lives in Washington State.
